what's the purpose of teleconverters? what's the difference between teleconverters and close-up filters?

teleconvertors are add-on zoom
close-up filters are like magnifying glass which allows you to take detailed pics close-up |

close-up filters we are talking about 2 digit fig.. teleconvertors cheapeast is ard $120, but i think the quality is not so good. |

Teleconvertor: U can still zoom to infinity and increase in magnification Close up lens: Infinity is blur... |
