    Yes, I agree with that.
    Better than SOC test, if reservist got SOC test, then most of us may have problem.

    NS best 8:23mins

    anyway, i'm now training for the standard chartered marathon. if you're living around the hougang stadium and seriously interested to go for the marathon on 5th dec 2004, lemme know. at least i won't feel "lazy" and dread training without a buddy

    also, stadium in the morning got people (i mean at least 100 people) exercising qi-gong.. so can listen to chinese folk music singing in the morning as we run... quite relaxing hahahahahaha *huuuuuuu......xiiiiiiiiiiii.......huuuuuuuuuuu... ..xiiiiiiiiii...."

    Wow ... after SOC timing now take 2.4km timing sia....

    OKKkkeeee ... during my sec sch best timing was 8 mins 19 sec. BMT was 8 mins 50 sec and after that posted to be CQMS ...

    Last year IPPT ... 11 mins + .. but still managed to get $200/- ..

    This year IPPT haven't start training yet ... dun know can pass anot ..

    Wha.. How come you all can run so fast!! my fastest timing ever in sec sch was 11 minutes.. HAHA! How to train stamina ar? I should be taking my NAPFA end of this year, before i go army next year! w00t!

    Haha, because only those with good timing will post...people like me can't run post timing for what? Can't inspire people what...

    2 months shaved off NS will be something you'll be thankful off, so please go and pia your NAPFA!!

    borrow a hungry doberman and let it loose after you. then run for your life.
    do that twice a week. should improve quite abit

    When I was smoking (just before every run) below 10min, (20 years ago)
    After quit smoking, during ICT stragle to get 2 points in cat y and cat z, to qualify for $100 and one year no need to run.
    Now,ROD liao, cannot complete 2 rounds in the stadum.

    Roughly 20 years ago ...
    BMT : struggled to pass 12:20
    SAFINCOS : 11:18 (personal best with PC physical motivation)
    ROD : 12:16 (the one behind me failed !)

    1998 ...
    Maju Camp : 12:04 (last official test, ever)

    2004 ...
    Going for Singapore Marathon. Serious !

    running used to be soooo easy
    best time abt 845mins during NS (4yrs ago)
    but now gain more than 5kg liao.. sigh

    I gained 8 kg after ORD. Now I'm already 70kg, used to be 62kg.

    Hmm...let me recall

    During my peak in the army, my timing was 8 minutes flat

    But just before ORD, dropped to 9:30min liao (luckily still can get the $200)

    Now the timing dropped further, my last ICT i only manage 10:30min, look like no hope to get the $400 already

    We are HDD of PC & FT are MB add to storage;
    so PC never hangs with enormous storage capacity - LKY

    first time enough
    doberman catches you
    downgrade to c2
    no need to run liow lor : )

    was like 59-60kg now 67-68
    can't believe that such skinny person like me could have a big tummy now

    best time 9:40
    now 16 plus......
    the rate of decline is something like 0.5min per year since i ROD......

    I have a 7:58PB in 1997.

    Now, stagnating around 8:15
