preferably a zoom would be good and not too heavy. not looking for high end ones just a normal one that is relatively good.

Nikon AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6D ED ~about 500g (but you need to search from 2nd hard market)

you need to look for AF-D lenses, G lenses not usable on your FM2.

I have a FM2n and used to use the D200 too.

The 135mm f/2D DC's manual focus ring is very nice to use on manual cameras...

Zooms made for AF cameras never did work well on the FM2n for me. It can get a little tiring to focus, but if you have no problems with the 50mm f/1.4D, this might not be a big problem for you. Why not try it out at a shop or something?

hmm... may be around 70-200mm plus minus
    weight less than 1kg
and hopefully fix aperture through out.
budget less than 1k. to be honest i am not sure about the budget cos different lens diff price oso. so i dun really have one fix budget, depend on the types of lens i can find ba.

    70-300 f4-5.6D ED
If constant aperture then perhaps 80-200 f2.8 but will exceed your budget.
