Sony extend 90 day warranty on DSC's

"Sony is pleased to announce that the limited warranty for several Cyber-shot® Digital Cameras has been expanded from 1 year parts / 90 days labor to 1 year parts / 1 year labor at no charge, pursuant to the limited warranty card noted below. The models to which this 1 year parts /1 year labor warranty applies are DSC-F828, DSC-T1, and Y2004 models DSC-P41, DSC-P73, DSC-P93, DSC-P100, DSC-W1. All other Sony digital cameras retain the limited warranty supplied with the product. "

what is "1 year parts / 90 days labor" warranty ??? pls enlighten me

In sg, when u register on-line is 90days more warranty. This since 1st day I get my F828
