    well, 11mm is helluva wider than 18mm

    but to me, the main attraction of the wideness is that I can get close to foreground subjects and emphasize them in my composition. It's the perspective change that's most appealing about the wide-angle lens, not so much for getting it all in.

    KRW (darn, again quoting the fella) has a pretty decent write-up about UWAs, and I'm kinda with him on that one.

    do note i mention stride not step, step is to small so stride, as per krig says its UWA, so better take stride, and did i mention its not accurate but its arnd there, the wideness u seek...

    If indoors better try it with enough room behind you... unless of course you can walk through walls... Certainly not with the balcony behind you....

    I think UWA is purposely built for distant landscapes.... objects and people up close, you have to be ultra careful with ultra wide...

    best to try outdoors, lets say, eg: marina barrage, Merlion Park, give u that chance to play arnd, even best under ya own void deck, if u stay in hdb,

    Will do bro. Don't temp me, I'm bringing my UWA for the studio shoot! 24 X 1.5 = 36mm.... Wide = up close portrait! Ultra Wide = up close Frankeinstein!

    Not really, no point if you don't take Landscapes and big indoors... but it's a great lens to have! And yeah, you get to distort friends' faces like nobody's business...
