Already, but I thought the short column was the one that I can change it with the long column that's already attached on the tripod. I was wrong, that short column is to further extend the height of it. Now I cannot shoot at low angle.

Yeah, sounds like he has the same problem as well... It is meant to extend? Didn't the salesman explain this to you? Who serviced you at TK btw?

Actually, not all the Sirui range can do low angles... you have to look at the catalogue to know this. I got one and studied like siao before I decided on which model I was going for... Hence just because one model has short center column doesn't really mean it can do low angle...

To be exact, that short column is meant for extension not to use as a sole piece that act as a column.

Did you mention to him that you want low angle option as well? If so, he should be recommending you a model that has the ability to do that. I know N series (both me and JZ have the same) can do low. If you did not, then can't blame him liao... He's wearing glasses and pretty tall right? Then I think know who and he's very helpful.

damm man, sirui gives me headache, guess im outdated or mis-inform, my short column is a short column meant to replace the longer piece so i can get lower angles, my mines not from sirui thou, first time hearing this, thats its being used as an extension...

No leh. I used my short column to go low. Can it be fixed to extend the long one? I have never tried it before. Just revoe the longer centre column, unscrew everything, keep, and push in the short column can already. And of course, fixed on the plate which the ballhead rests on.

So yours can go low? Hmmm I wonder why OGL can't do it then...?

Yeap, he's wearing glasses. And it's my fault for not telling him what I wanted. Anyway, I think there's other way to do shooting at low angle rather than using a tripod lol.
