The dot is still there after pixel mapping.

The dot is there no matter on settings, preview.. Etc.

So it's confirm a dead pixel I suppose?
Is it common?

Will Emjay replace me a new camera for the dead pixel?
1 to 1 replacement is not the norm for warranty claims for all brands, not just pentax, so the answer is "no", don't get your hopes up.

just give emjay a call and find out if they can fix it and how long the repairs might take. if it'll takes too long (i.e. a few weeks), i'll rather live with a hot pixel. it doesn't affect IQ anyway

irritating? no camera even more irritating to me lor
