Default GHz 2004: Digital Photography - Life in Singapore

    Hi everyone!

GigaHertz, an IT competition organised by Computer Engineering Club of NTU, has come up with a digital photography section this year.

The aim of this section is to raise funds for charity organisations and to promote digital photography. Although not a photography competition in itself, there are prizes to be won. For details, visit:

The theme is "Life in Singapore"

I went to the site, not much info except there is a page on how to upload your photos and also the photos uploaded looked like they were taken from internet and edited in photoshop extensively.

    instructions found are as follow:
    Valid Extensions: .jpg
Digital Photo Must not Exceed 1mb in File Size
An E-mail will be forwarded to your mailing Address
informing you of your Registration Status.
No Pornographic or Copyrighted Materials are Allowed!
We Thank You for your Participation and Support.

So my questions are, how will they verify the shots taken are my own (or they won't verify? )
Is digital editing allowed? if yes, is there a limit to it?
And lastly, where are the basic details about deadline or prize list etc?

Thanks for sharing justhin. If you happen to be in the committee, please address the qns yah

oh, I have a feeling that the photos in the gallery just sample photos, instead of actual submitted photo though
