From my garden, this dark overcast late afternoon.

#2 is good.

F11 liao still the wing looks OOF hmmmm

like the colors in pic 1....violet...

but too bad the colors outshine the butt...

So if the butt's the subject.....got to go with pic 2...

I think it's movement of the butt, as the shutter 1/2s very slow, so any movement will result in motion blur. Should have shot ISO 200 or ISO 400 for faster shutter.

Very nice background you have there in the first pic. Looks great with the purple colored petals combo ...

How come the texture of the first butt looks much smoother than the 2nd huh ???? Guess must be too much salty food for him/her liao

Not sure about the texture, at first I thought it could be due to some motion, but now not very sure. Post processing for both shots was somewhat similar, will have to observe with my eyes next time while shooting. These guys were tiny, around the size of my ring fingernail. Almost 1:1.
