Default Portable External hard drive for camera, SD or CF card

Is there a device that I can transfer the photos to a portable external hard drive straight from camera or through memory card?

So when traveling, I dun need to bring tons of memory card or a laptop along. Anyone come across such device?

Here is one from vosonic: http://www.vosonic.com/product.php?P...kind=1&id_1=16
    Another one from Hyperdrive: http://www.hypershop.com/category-s/119.htm

You might also consider carrying a netbook with SD/CF adapter.

i have got the ipad and camera connector kit. but the ipad will automatic change RAW to JPEG. cannot save RAW in ipad.

I did some research last night. buying a few more CF cards is cheaper and better than getting those hard drive. Seems like we need someone to invent a good one..

most of it, transmit at 5m/sec. so shooting in raw with my 18mb will 4sec. they says a 1G card take 3.5mins, 8G will be 28mins approximately without lagging then the battery for the hard disk is only available for 1hr. Making it buying 2 x 8G card will do the same job, since the battery is going to flat after loading up 2 times...

Unless buy more batteries, then i rather carry CF card then battery and additional item with me...
