    When i saw this pic i had a bg in mind. Thats a spot of red with black/dark background. Then use white reflections to outline the shape of the bottle.
    I dont do product shots. Just my 2cents of what hits me.

    ah tay is right, the 1st shot cap needs more reflection and light.

    may i know how do u pp away the reflection nicely?
    i tried cloning but when i pixel peep, it's not that clean
    afterall, leaving behind some pixels from the reflection..

    there are many ways you can go about doing this.
    you can cut out the image using the extract tool under filters or use the quick selection tool and then use edge define tool to feather and smooth out the edges.
    you could also with a steady hand simply paint out the unwanted reflection using a brush tool.
    well the possibilities are endless.
    i think you did a great job, don't pixel peep 300% lah mine is not so clean also.

    Does this mean you were working at 300-400% zoom? :P

    If the background is dark, will it make the liquid color more outstanding??? Just my suggestion..

    Actually if the bg is dark the liquid will become even darker. coz less light being passed thru the liquid.
