water was quite still but I slapped on the 9-stopper for this shot as the sky was pretty bright and I wanted to drag the exposure a bit.
I think it was about 8 or 10s...

Yesterday I was trying to put my finger on what those F1 cars sounded like... then I realised they sounded like elephants in distress!

Mirror-like for sure! Actually, if you slap on another ND110 on your 9-stop the effect won't be any different right?

Aiyah... regular elephant talking is good enough for comparison lah... I added "distress" to exaggerate the sentence a bit!

If you add another 10 stops:

    1) exposure will be super long leh... already 10s... x another 1000 I can't count already.

    2) you'll observe a lot of cloud movement but water won't get any smoother. But I liked this particular cloud pattern, so to capture the movement wouldn't be too nice, I feel.

Back to landscape photography... Autumn is one time I missed most! No need sunrise or sunset, your pictures will already be beautiful.... Too bad I didn't pick up photography back then.... Then again, back then the digital SLRs were no where in sight...

    yeah... you're right...
I think the quality of light during autumn is amazing. As are the colours... As photographers, we can only do so much. We take what Mother Nature gives us
