uploading and battery for ixus 430

Hi...

I tried uploading movie clips back to my camera but it does allow me(i'm using the canon ixus 430 software...)
How do i check my battery life? It seem tat there is no function in the camera tats allows me to do tat...
(i read the manual many times alr)

The IXUS range of cameras don't have a battery life indication bar, unlike the prosumer range or DSLRs. They only have a red battery icon which will be displayed when the battery life is very low.

Only solution is to buy a spare battery to avoild missing shots due to low/no battery power.
