I have a long number of image files but unless i look at the exif i cannot make scent of the dates of the photo. Is there a program to let me do a mass rename of file name at the same time keeping the uniquity of the origin filenames? Thanks.

I know InfanView can do batch rename. But not sure if it would reset the date.

i'm using IrfanView 3.91 .. as recommended by a lot of fellow clubsnappers.. it's freeware and it's very easy to use. not only you can mass rename, you also can mass convert files (eg: TIFF to JPG, etc..)
