Default Newbie : Help which one to buy???

hi guys ....after reading some many post got a bit confused which to buy ???
me torn between a ixus 430 , ixus 500 and cannon G5 .....i juz need something that produces good quality pictures and something that is less noise .....read the 500 is noiser than 430 (althought the price differences is not much) ....and G5 has been out for sometime but it is a bit bulky not as compact as the ixus .....anyone can help???

If you have no idea... just take the cheapest one of your choices... the photographer controls the shots... not the camera...

Do consider about A80. Heard that reviews are not bad. I might be getting to replace my EOS 300.

Ixus so good for snapshots. Sleek, classy, small. Good for bringing to parties and outings without weighing you down.

G5 can give more control to the photgrapher when needed. Good for amateurs who demand more control over the specifics of photography beyond point-and-shoot.
