Open the file in PhotoShop, do a File, Save As, type in a filename, select JPEG and hit save.

You mean something like :
Filename.tif @ 100% (Gray/8) ? You should still be able to save as JPEG. Regards CK |

AFAIK, Jpeg files are 8 bits/channel. If your TIFF files are 16 bits/channel, Photoshop won't allow you to save as Jpeg unless you first change it to 8 bits. Try to convert by Image-> Mode-> 8 Bits/channel. Maybe that will help.

If you're still having trouble try changing the Mode (Under Image>Mode to RGB). Under certain modes you do not get the option to save as a jpeg. Then do File>Save as and select JPEG option. This should work hopefully. ![]() |

Not too sure, but suggest you replace the .tif with .jpg. eg mt1.jpg@100% gray the program may recognise the extension as tif and therefore you cannot save as jpg |
