Default philips LCD 170B

just changed my display from a 3 year old sony trinitron to the philips 170B LCD.

Noticed something REALLY wierd. The black suite in the photo looks REALLY bad. It is like pixilated with green tinge to it.... it was NOT there on my old trinitron display. Any ideas why this is so?

Post the photo here.

A possible reason is that there is some noise in that area, that your old Trinitron failed to show. LCD monitors are usually very bright, so that might be what you are seeing now.

hey it looks okay in IE. But looks bad in photoshop....

I just solved it. I must set my RBG workspace to the philips LCD profile....
