Apart from the normal insects/flora shots, the EF 100 macro does good portraits, on animals that is.
What I like: 1) Handheld possible at low shutter of 1/30s at close range 2) Light weight 3) Good built 4) Fast AF and deliver tack sharp images out of cam What I dislike: 1) None at the moment. Samples: "You just want to cuddle this fur ball" ![]() ![]() Lighting was quite bad for these shots. ISO was at 800 with shutter around 1/30 to 1/60s at F5.0 w/o flash. Handheld. |

Nice pictures. The first one looks as though he just came out of the taxidermist's? There's some lint on his fur

It also works fine with a Kenko Pro 300 1.4x tele. |
