Black Canon 300D

Okie... I know photos speak louder than the gear per se... But I'd be really tempted to dump my 300D if this Black Beauty do hit out shore...

To me, even given the chance to choose between the black and silver, I will still go with silver.

I will prefer black but silver also not bad.. at least it cooler under the hot sun.

I think with the smooth black finish, you might see more of oily fingerprints. Serious!

black is meant for slr body

white is meant for zek...

What's the point?
Black/white/silver/gold/blue/green/red.
It's untimately the photographer who is pressing the trigger.
Yes, a black cam will help u boost your ego, & that's it, nothing else.
I'd prefer my camera blue; it's my favourite colour.

The point is personal preference. Why not have all cars in the same color ? Its cheaper to paint all cars the same color ( changing colors in a car assembly line is a huge expense, no kidding. Changing color takes time, and the whole line comes to a complete halt ), and it won't affect your driving. For that matter, make all clothes the same color. But its personal preference to choose a color you prefer or like. Nothing wrong with that. Personally, I like it black (clothes, cars, and cameras).

Personally I prefer black...
cos most of the lens are black, the grip is black and gives a more professional look...any scratches on a silver body will gives black but black scratched is still black.

Believed Canon make it silver because it doesn't wan any competition from its bigger brother 10D. Well, a good strategy I must say...

If Canon should have launched 300d black and silver...I guess most ppl will still go for black...

Yes indeed, the color doesn't makes you a better pro, you'll probably look more pro, but ultimately u know how ur skills are... does tat makes a difference???...

Given a choice thou, yup, I'll take the black one

Like blue? get blue gaffer tape

Better still if they have the black version plus all the functionality of the Russian firmware hack... tat would make switching to the black version from the silver version worth it...

Bascally we r trying to say if there is a choice what will we choose....somethign like dat
Of cos we know that equipments onli allows us to take sharper and better contrast pictures but not good pictures - which u were trying to say that its the person behind the camera that counts...I think we all knew that.

if there is more people like u...then the whole forum will be very silent..cos everyone think that is the person that counts...the whole world technology will stop cos its human that counts!
