Default 10-24 mm or 18-200 mm as walkabout

    Hi folks,

my tamron 17-50 spoilt, so getting new lens but only budget for one...

going to tokyo, so which would you bring as your walk-about. 10-24 mm or 18-200 mm?

think generally most ppl will suggest 18-200mm as walkabout, but granted i'm the type of user that tends to like shooting at widest. (i.e, when using tamron 17-50, i shoot most at 17)

I tend to like UWA distortion effects too and shoot scenery most of the time, but thinking about how busy tokyo is filled with people, it may not be a good idea, yeah?

also anyone got samples of UWA on busy streets?

Shoot at between 18mm to 24mm focal length on your 10-24.

that's what i thought too, so the tricky part is do i want the 10-18mm range on the streets of tokyo or the 24-200mm range.

i am quite eager to experiment on UWA on street shooting, but from samples seen in the forum, most tend to be snipers
