Default Question for Da Oly protector: How to clean when sand go inside?

as above, sand goes between the protector and the LCD screen.. how do i get it off?

I don't see any way other than removing the Protector (which will most likely tear the adhesive).

take it off.. but use dental floss as they recommended.. do NOT peel it off with your fingers, my whole 10D's LCD came off with the protector when trying to peel it out

that's quite scary!!

but after i take it out with dental floss, can i stick it back again?
