Default Sb-600

Saw the retail price at M'sia Nikon Website. It is RM888, so for Singapore should be $410 or near to that. Quite reasonable.

Nice to know. May be getting a couple of them to put into umbrella and stuff. SB800 very chor. Then manual slaves too much work... I look at my SB-800 and seriously it doesn't look like much.

You can get those pop-up slave flash from Cathay i think, heard is about $22 each. It will fire out when your main flash fired. No need to set them, just to get the correct lighting beforehand using lightmeter.

Default Caution

As long as you're not using it with another remote CLS flash (SB-600 or SB-800). The pre-flashes will screw up everything.

I've tried using the D70 built-in flash to trigger another flash on dumb slave (like the one you mentioned) and got satisfactory results.

opps, forgot about the pre-flashes...

So is there any way we can "off" the pre flash on the SB-600 or SB-800?
