Default [Help] Using multiple ND8 Filters

Hi, I tried googling but can't seem to get anything on this. I happen to have two ND8 square filters and I mount both at the same time. Is this undesirable in the first place? Will they interfere?

As in I get an image that become reddish. But when i only put one piece, then its alright. I actually read an article which suggested using ND4 and ND8 together to get 5 (2+3) stops down. Thus, I'm wondering what went wrong as I am unfamiliar with the use of ND filters. Anyone know what went wrong?

    This is called color cast.

Please read this article that I wrote a while back and it will explain everything for you and give you some solutions to the problem as well.

And also if you want to get 6 stops ND, it is better to get B+W ND106. if you want 10 stops, get ND110, or Lee's big stopper.
