Default Green Tinge on pictures, is it a problem?

    Good day everyone =)

I am Bo, and I've got a little problem that I'd like some advice on.

I am using a 5Dmk2 with a 24-105L lens. While I was trying out some shots at my study table, under FLORESCENT LIGHTING, the pictures have green tinge on them, and sometimes it doesn't appear. The white balance I used was "florescent" and "shaded area", and the result was the same.

Is there a problem with my camera? The lens? Or was it because it is under the influence of florescent light that this happens?

I've got 3 pics here that show the normal and green tinge picture.

Can someone please so kindly share some thoughts on this? Thank You very much! =)

    Cheers
    Bo.

Fluorescent lighting flickers on a frequency. Try a search, it's pretty well discussed (as well as how to try and avoid it).

Something to do with the shutter speed and the frequency of the florescent light. u need the slow it down.

Florescent light flickers at the AC current frequency, ie 50Hz or 50 cycle per second. So try to set shutter speed to cover a full half cycle or multiple of it. That is shutter speed of 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/125, ...and so on.
