Is this an improved version of the previous MagicStor 2.2 GB? The feedback regarding the previous one was seriously underwhelming.......

Google is your best friend dude....

Anyway, this was stated at the Compact Flash Association (CFA) FAQ.

Under dpreview's media comparison, there are also a few CF Type II flash cards.

Thanks for letting me know that

after doing a search on google, magicstor only produces Hardisk type CF card. No solid state compact flash cards.

http://www.gs-magicstor.com/english/.../product_a.htm

Not to get OT by going into the rarer solid state type II cards

The MagicStor Plus is the new version.

Heard that the new batch of Creative's MP3 would not allow the user the remove the 4GB MD.
