Nikon L37C Filter Query

Hi Guys,

Goodday

I have 3 brand new Nikon L37C 77mm filters but somehow I notice 2 of them exhibit darker greenish color type coating whereas the other is lighter. Any idea why the diff and which one is better? Darker or lighter?

Appreciate any kind advice.

One might have a new type of coating or something. I wouldn't worry to much about it if I were you.

This is a normal observation. I do not have that many Nikon filters. However, among my Hoya HMC UV filters, the colour of the reflection differs somewhat, as they are multi-coated. The difference will not cause any color cast on your pictures. BTW, if you want to sell, I am interested, provided there is no defects!
