Default MO : Sandisk Ultra II 1GB CF

Hi all. My vendor approached me for this deal of Sandisk Ultra II 1GB CF (as shown above) at a price between S$450 - S$480 (depending on the quantity I take). Anyone interested in this MO?

I have check with him, life-time warranty still holds for manufacturing defects. And his source is directly from the manufacturer.

Interested party pls enter you name in the list below, as i am currently out of office, i will get back to you guys with detail once I return on 24-May-04. Thanks.

Hi. I doubt so, as i have a Sandisk Ultra II 512MB CF, and it does have recovery software and card reader. Only Lexar offer these items, and someone selling Lexar told me sometime back (when i am deciding which brand to get for the 512MB CF, but eventually choose Sandisk) that the reader and recovery software bundle with Lexar CF is only workable with Lexar CF only, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for asking for others.

Hi Sync_man. My MO is for Sandisk, not Lexar. Thanks for cooperating and helping me to explain.

last i checked (on Sat) it was still $539. Supposed to be a price cut by SanDisk, but hasn't reached our shores yet

The Lexar Pro WA 1GB is a good deal la, only $399, comes with Card reader and recovery software (Image Rescue)

The Ultra II is one hell of a fast CF card. Very good writing speed on the D2H.

The new SanDisk Extreme 1 GB CF is now retailing in the US for approx S$ 490....... Think Singapore is "Extremely/Ultra" expensive for CF....pardon the pun...

At S$450 for the Ultra, it is the US market price now.....at S$480, I will rather opt to MO from the US with the rest of us here....

Hi all. I am not too sure what is the market price of Sandisk Ultra II 1G CF. I think if i buy more from him i will get S$450. But if i am the only buyer, then maybe it is better to buy from you guys who claimed to have lower price else where. I am also a consumer you know, of course go for lower price lar.

Anyway, no hurry. As i will only return to Singapore after 24-May-04. So then i will reply my vendor the orders. So for the time being continue the discussion, and if really interersted, can create a list for me. Then let me go and bargain. No volume how to bargain? Right? Thanks alot.

Just looked at the B&H website and the cost of a SanDisk Extreme CF 1 Gb
is approximately S$ 435 without GST and Shipping......

If we could all pool together and get someone to buy for us and bring it back
from the US....this could work out to be cheaper than buying a SanDisk Ultra II CF 1 Gb in Singapore!!!

Wonder why they still say Singapore is cheap for electronic stuff sometimes!
