Default Price and Availibility of EOS 1D2?

Hi,

Anyone have any idea which stores got stock of the EOS 1D2? Pricing info?

A lot of bookings, so may not have enough stock for off the counter buyers yet. I heard its at $7000 range.

the last i saw at mscolor, it was going slightly above $8000. dun know if its body alone or with some lens. almost fainted when florence told me the price....

Just got quote from CP. $7688 incl GST but of course no stock at the moment although they have a reservation list going.

The other store would be Alan Photo or MS Colour.

The price should be around the same as CP.

AP is out of bounds for me, I have no wish to give those Ah Bengs there my business. MS has great service but their prices seem to be amongst the highest of all the stores.

try to get a quotation from Florence? she should be able to give you a good price.

wow u upgrading so fast
HK no stock, price hike as demand too great
latest quote i got was HKD39800 = SGD8844
so forget abt getting from HK la

Aiya, just shelved my upgrading plans. No stock, super high price... I got myself a second 10D body instead. Will use it for about a year before considering the 1D2 again, hopefully the price falls below $7k by then.

How is your HKG shopping spree coming along?

Hey! Nice shot! U managed to get ramp access? Can bring me along??? I am thinking of doing another Bali trip for another taste of jet blast. I will now be armed to the teeth for that one, 2 x 10Ds and 1 EOS 1n RS.

me only D30 and EOS3 leh

hehe actually manipulated my fren's shot.. she took 5 pics and ask me to join for her
actually i wanted to go KIX first b4 its fully close down

next trip(june) i am going China again..

my fren says she interested in Bali leh
probably go china 1-2nd wk of Jun then we can go 2-3rd wk to Bali

maybe go NGO(not KIX sorry) during sept-oct

Wow. Were you in HK for that long?

Anyway, thanks for the tip on the shops. Though I couldn't get what I wanted, It was fun looking at the shops at Tung Ying Building. Champange Court was interesting too.
