tot I saw an S1pro at the basement of adelphi 3 weeks back, should be there. Priced at 1250. S2pro should be around 2300+.

Just sold my S1Pro for $1100 but its still a worthwhile price for this beautiful cam. Shots taken can equal to the current DSLRs.

For flashguns, it can use all Nikon flash except that it does not auto-zoom as it is based on Nikon F60 body. However if you are bouncing the light most or all the time, you wont be bothered by the non auto-zoom.

Go for it .. its a worthwhile cam.

i used Jay's S1pro before! and i was using my cheapo Achiever flash 260AF on it. It still works!!! As Jay said, the non-auto zoom of the flash is not a problem as i use bounce all the time i.e no need to zoom the head.

Go for it, it is a good cam

Hi, if you are using the achiever, you can pull out the head "abit abit", yeah, that's the zoom. It is used to adjust the angle of the coverage of the flash to be the same as your lens. If you using 50mm to take picture, then you adjust the zoom head accordingly to 50mm.

If you are using let say Nikon sb-28, the head will zoom accordingly when you zoom your lens (on a newer nikon body). It is by motor so you no need to push and pull the head.

When you using a bounce card, you just leave the zoom head at the original position (not pulled/zoom out), the achiever flash will TTL and adjust the intensity for you.

That was my setup when using the S1pro and achiever last time and the picture turn out perfect! Hope this help.
