nicely captured, excellent lighting.
Quite prefect... But there's sure to be some flaws with every photo... This 1 is the brown object behind the car.. cannot help it, but it'll be better if it's not there. |

Tried b&w & sepia. The former doesn't look any good to me. So here's the sepia version. So now can you guys help decide which version works better.

hi, could you share how you took this photo? like what were your settings or equipment? it's really beautiful, and has this dreamlike quality to it. the exposure looks spot on too..

Equipment? Does it matter? ok D70 with a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Macro Super II. The dreamlike quality is achieved by adding blur effect in PS and i guess i was lucky to get this shot right ![]() btw, which version do u prefer? ![]() Last edited by ndroo; 11th May 2004 at 04:37 PM. |

the sepia look more outstanding because of the shine and reflections the car have.
Good frame and yah a pity of the stuff showing up in the back window

Very nice shot! I like the way you frame the car and the car window frame the little girl. Both shots work for me.... though I have a slight preference for the colour one. The red of the t-shirt goes with the dark mahogany of the car (which by itself have a very nostalgic look).

for a moment i was wondering if it were captured on film, because it looks really smooth, and you've got all highlights under control.. i prefer the original one, it has more character to me. the sepia version is a bit too cliched looking for me, doesn't work as well as colour here..
