If you have not watch this... try to catch the "toy" series by James May from BBC. You will be inspired.

Wah. Long time no play Tamiya already.

Last time still remember, finish school. QUickly go Jurong West shop name "Tafong" or "Kefong"(forgot already!) and play. Also play at Bukit Batok Blue Market. Rechargeable batteries are plenty and also the engines. Hyperdash, machdash(izzit?) and all time fav Ultradash. I even tried my best to get a Japan made engine in. My first king was Avante. 2nd Manta Ray and 3rd was a DIY parts by Parts car which I called it Ultraman. Sadly all gone and thrown or given away. Lost interest. But never throw the engines though. Some I sold it. Some installed on a radio controlled car. Power!. Ultradash lost somewhere at sea thanks to my clumsiness. Mom bought me a battery boat(not controlled ones) and I found them to be slow, so change the motor to Ultradash. Pester my mom to bring me to the beach. The clumsy part, I tied it using sewing thread haiz...boat go so fast, it beat the wave and even the break the string. There it goes.....till cant see no more...if u find a white red boat drifting somewhere at the middle of the sea, please bring it back. Thats mine, lost it in 1994 i think. hahahaha.

lol The lego and and track car episodes was the most memorable.

I had a lot of Tamiya mini cars but they are somewhere deep in storage. I doubt the engines still work. Dunno what hyper dash engine.

think i still got a plasma dash engine in original packaging somewhere. Daimaru was clearing when they were shutting, got it for like 2 or 3 dollars only.
