1.can crop off more of the bottom
2. this a fast moment candid? if not can use lower angle for more impact3.leaf is of just the right size =) |

agree with clive here... crop off till the chair in front disappears can already i think...

Your original image has greater relevance to your title as it gives more space around the subject(sense of personal space?) and also has a better sense of balance in the image.
The cropped version is neither here nor there, being a little loose for a conventional portrait and too tight to fit in with your caption. |

I think I said crop the bottom slightly because the bench at the bottom is a bit distracting because it does not lead the eye to the subject and then on to the leaf... If the bench can push straight then can... But its a candid shot so not studio here... hehe..
