Default Welding Works

They were doing welding works late into the night behind by block...

3 sec, f/8.0


3 sec, f/8.0


3 sec, f/5.6


3 sec, f/8.0

Still learning abt night photography as I seldom take them...
Pls give comments so that I can improve..

Like the 2nd pic the best. Can't make out with the 1st pic is.

Notice all the pics to be soft. What shutter speed are you using? Tripod used?

Thanks for the comments,
Edited the 1st Post to show shutter speed and aperture settings.
Tripod was used. I think for some of the pics, my focus was off...
Kind of difficult to focus as the pics was taken at night.

my thoughts:

me like yuor 3 and 5 shots...
your 2nd shot could make it by tighter cropping, but you'll need to choose either to place 2 men in it or only one.

I agree with Khairi... your 3rd and 5th pictures are superb. Both of them totally silhouetted the welder and isolated the subject by pushing the background to darkness.
