He is very different from Henry other than pace. Henry does run at defender but finish beautifully with composure and placing. Walcott is quite similar to Owen though IMO.

thought i share this article about Laurent Koscielny, if he is really that good as mentioned, i would prefer him and Squillaci as first choice center backs, this would put Vermaelen on his toes when it comes to match selection.

I would prefer Vermaelen and Squillaci to be the regular starts. Koscielny with Djourou are still quite green and will be a good backs. Ver and Kos can also be backup to Song in DM. No Denilson please. Diaby more suitable in the attacking CM role.

Latest transfer "news" - Given not moving to Fulham, so Schwarzer's deal is off. Al...mu...nia.....NO!!!!!

While Mark S. may be a good goalkeeper, I dont think it would be a long term asset as compared to Almunia. I feel that a stronger back four and a fiesty defensive midfielder would give Almunia more strength & confidence.

Would like to see Wenger's expression when the goalkeepers starts making their boo-boos again.

Actually i would prefer the 4 keepers to start bucking up. He should send out one of the other remaining 3 keepers on loan to gain experience. And let the other two to pick up pace. All four stay, no improvement.

It could also be a possibility that its due to our goalkeeping staff who are not as well versed in the art. Looking at Manchester United, they always seem to have great keepers who stand out really well. I think one of our keepers are currently on loan, or just returned according to Arsenal.com

looks like this is going to be a costly mistake this season, almost everyone in the top 4, got great keepers except arsenal even spurs is one up better than us in the goalkeeping dept...

Seems like we won't be seeing a new face standing between the sticks ... guess it's time to get behind Almunia and Fabianski ...

I think Kos started quite well for the first 3 matches, pace not quite bad but strenght is definitely got to be his priority which he stated so before the start of the season.

Anyway as a gunner for life, we got to stick to the club through thick and thin and hopefully the best outcome(title) will come sooner.

Urgh ... it seems the injury curse doesn't stop here; just learnt that Thomas Vermaelen has picked up an injury and will miss the home game against Bolton tomorrow!

For those who missed out on catching the game live, here's a blog that has the highlights.

Check out Vela's goal, 24 passes completed before Fabregas gave a sweet lob for him to finish it off sweet.
