quickly processed some of the photos... presenting 4 over a period of about 1 hour.

all taken with D100, ISO varied from 200-800, shutter speed varied from 1/10 to 10s, aperture varied from f8-16 reason being clouds came and went. used an old Sigma 400/5.6 with Kenko Pro 2x TC.

3s with in-camera noise reduction
setup mounted on tripod but the ball head cannot really sustain the weight so maybe you see some unsharpness.

Hi Des, using the TC so fast already.. Borrowed my friend's D100+2XTC, I used my 500mm mirror lens.. the last part was a bit sad lar, when the clouds covered everything. But at around 5am, the clouds cleared again, it was totally visible but reddish tinge...

yeah... cloud cover was a letdown for a moment then it started to clear... "closed shop" around 4 am coz my friend still hasn't finished his exam.
