    Hi all, my virgin image post, just trying my hand at "comic-booking".

    i like the fonts and the dialog box!
    but the picture abit ehh.. dont know how to say, but i dont quite like the way the picture is being process..

    Hey~ no offence taken!
    hmmz..can roughly explain in what way u dun like the process?

    as for fonts, credit to blambot fonts.
    dialog done using illustrator~

    eh, a lot values i juz fool around but the steps more or less is like this...

    1. Adjust the Levels to get a more contrasted image
    2. Add a FILM GRAIN filter
    3. Create a 2nd layer, add a COLOR HALFTONE filter
    4. Set the layer blending mode to darken

    ttz the major processing liaos, as for the borders, its juz basic shapes.

    as for font, u can look at blambot.com for the comic strip fonts. =) HTH.

    one importtant tidbit to take note, in most comics, ppl read the panels from left to right. Hence dialogs are usually from left to right too.
    In this instance, i read the dialog from the guy on the left first, then on the right. den i realised i was wrong
