Default Eye City 2009 Photo Exhibition

Eye City, a non-profit organization that promotes the preservation of memories belonging to modern day Singapore, will present photographs from its annual flagship event, A Visual Account of the Last 24 Hours of 2009, in a roving exhibition from 1 August 2010 to 28 August 2010.

The photography exhibition is a culmination of the best works received in the 24-hour event that aims to raise awareness and concern for the society through a collective photographic documentation of Singapores extraordinary, everyday and the mundane. Featuring more than 60 black and white photographs, the show will appeal to all ages because of the wide-ranging topics that were documented by ordinary folks from all over the city.

Yup, there won't be any book launch during the exhibition period. We will inform participants once the book is published.

As for the 2008 prints, there will be no collection as well.

Went to the Exhibit yday, seems that the no of photos selected are getting lesser by the year?

Is it that our standard drop or drop in no of participant?

Notice there is no name and caption to the Eye E City Challenge? or did it drop off?

    Thanks for your support Melvin!

The quality of last year's submissions were not as good as previous years, in fact the judges had a tough time selecting the finals. Eventually it was decided that we will only feature 60 over prints.

The caption for Eye Challenge will be put up very soon. Do drop by again or at Jurong Regional Library starting next Wednesday.
