    Valid points. 若要人不知 除非己莫为

How about if a photographer is known to be posting up such photoshoots on sleazy websites, do you think his name should be flagged? Or it doesn't matter, since the photos would go onto such websites sooner or later.

Indeed. Another advise for the models or 'wanna-bies' is that if you are perfectly ok with letting your friends, families, colleagues, future-partners and in-laws view your photos based on the theme of the shoot your participated (and get paid); then do not attribute the responsibility of your actions to others.

I guess you might have made a mistake.. no one is supporting/encouraging the photographer's actions. So far in this forum, I have not came across a post where the members openly supported those kind of actions.

What the other members views is to highlight that the model is also responsible for allowing such things to happen. They willing took the pictures and even pose for the photographer for a sum of money.

Even if what the photographer has done is morally wrong, the model facilitated it.

If the photographer is a criminal, the model is accomplice.. just an analogy..

Unless you're talking about unlawful kidnapping or threatening with armed weapon forcing the model to do something against her will, then it is different story.. and the law will take care of that.

Not to mentioned there is a thread, The Best of Clubsnap which I believe it has nothing to do with this forum.

I have nothing to gain by posting but rather I just want to tell the models here to be careful of this guy.

    Take care models.
I am not a subscriber to Sammyboy so cannot see what you have quoted. I think this is a grey area. If the model stripped in front of a camera, she jolly well need to understand that this is not just a lifetime decision. Generations after generations of people are going to oggle at the photos. In some societies, going nude or posing in compromising positions is more easily digestable and accepted. Unfortunately, Singapore is not one of them.

As for the photographer, there are all kinds of people. Even bfs will post photos of their ex-gfs when they break up. Not to mentioned strangers who have no relationship with the model. So if you are going to be in the trade, then it will be better you get an organizer who will protect your interests.

I do find sometimes these model are quite defenceless against such axx-holes who will do anything to disrespect, tarnish, indignify the models. The girls are just trying to make some extra cash. Just keep the photos for self appreciation instead of having to publish it on the World Wide Web for all to see. What are these guys trying to prove?

Is there anyway to protect these models? Maybe the organizers may want to share their views.

i have made numerous posts about photographers' behaviour in these forums, many people will vouch for that. but putting the ball in the court of the photographer entirely is also not right, and isn't that what you are doing, by absolving all models of responsibility when it comes to taking off their clothes?

did the photographer rip the model's clothes off?

did the photographer hold her at gunpoint to take it off?

he did not, he lured her with honeyed words, he lured her with the promise of more money, whatever it takes. he is wrong.

she is wrong too. it is as simple as that.

if models will not think twice before shedding their clothes, then predators will have a chance to do all these.

if they had thought more carefully, instead of regretting later on, about how this will affect their life.. then possibly more of them would have held back.

you are not the first person looking for a solution. you won't be the last. there is no solution, you can't safeguard everyone everywhere at everytime.

what we can all do, is to educate, and to eke out people who have stepped beyond the boundaries of the law, weed them out and throw them into a world of pain.

unfortunately, the photographer you have a problem with has not broken the law, not explicity, anyways.

bro, I help u do a very fast summary

I have no answer to your question. But let me ask you. Whats the difference between posting a nude photo on clubsnap and posting it on the sleazy website? Does it makes the photo more sleazy?

    I want to add.

Models ought to know the consequences of taking up implied nude, nude (some photographers may claim its art? True for most but not for some cos its just an excuse), semi nude jobs. Cos you will never know where your photos landed up to!

Like night86mare says, in short summary, "It takes two to clap". So no point crying over sour milk.

I heard of this trade sayings before.

If you are a new model, make sure u go the clean path. If you want to side track for the sake of more earnings, your path as a model is as good as gone! Cos reputation in this field is very important. No potential clients (companies) will want their hired models to be featured on sleazy magazines or websites before cos it will tarnish their reputation (company's).

Only the famed models who choosed such jobs by reputable photographers who is known to be in this line can be exempted from such 'shames' since they are famous enough to be sought after.

So choose your path wisely if not that's it to your modeling career. Cos news spreads fast in this field.

I find it amazing that with all the news of leaked photos or videos appearing on newpaper there are still girls naive enough to bare all to a total stranger with a camera.

    what to do?

some are blinded by promised fame, some are blinded by $$$, some blinded by both (speaking in general, not targetting at anyone, TS or her friend).

This had been happening since our great great xxx parent's years isn't it?

So wun be surprised that there is still people falling for such old ancient tricks modified through the years at this century.

yup. and i am still waiting for the TS to furnish the Admin team with concrete proof.

i am aware of the threads that you have raised. but, AFAIK we know, the pics there are not found here. which means they can be anywhere. if they are found here, we would have probably deleted them as catchlights mentioned.

ie - while your intentions might possibily be good, you are barking up the wrong tree. so back to the original question of wat is your purpose of starting this issue? the last time someone started it, CS ended up (of no fault of the majority here) being dragged thru the mud, one member got banned for provoking the Admins, one supposed ST/NP journalist posing as a CSer started a thread trying to fish out more dirt and the Admins taking a stand to ban all forms of nude/semi-nude shoots once and for all.

so, what is your purpose apart from stating what is already known?

there is no guarantee that organisers who posted here, might not post at other "sleezy" forums to solicit responses. As long as the points agreed to is terms of contract then there should be no argument about who is right or wrong.

I was once told by a TFCD model that there was sudden change from a full clothed to semi-nude or lingerie in the midst of her previous photoshoot with the organiser threaten to withdraw pay. That would void the agreement and the organiser could be liable for a police case.

Most importantly, know your rights and what are you agreeing to.

and i concur with nightmare's analysis. if its a willing party on both sides, nothing can be done.

on the other hand if it was forced etc scammed, thats a different story.

I have no answer to your question also.

I supposed there's this law on possessing and distributing porn, but then there is this grey area between nude art and pornography isn't there. Wouldn't say too much on it since our resident lawyer is gone , and I am far from qualified to interpret the law.

My points are not to challenge anybody, its just that while legally, the photographer might not have done anything wrong. I still feel a bit indignant that if it happened.

That is the point I'm making, that I'm struggling to bridge this apparent gap between the moral and legal liability of such a photographer.

    what is the different?

here is a photography portal, which promote photography as an art form,

another one is a prono site, how can you compare CS and THAT site, are you hate CS that much?

moreover, if anyone dare to post a tasteless sleazy nude photo here, he/she will be banned in no time, and I'm sure members here will condemn such people and support our action.

I don't surf THAT site, but I'm sure if those tiko posting tasteless sleazy nude photos there will make them famous, earn a lots of thrums up and eyeballs.

    THAT is the difference.

Since that fella got a modelmayhem account, simple, lodge a complaint and sent those links to modelmayhem for investigation.

anyway i am not ashamed to say this, i do have an account in that forum and viewed those threads you mentioned. But from those pictures, i dun think he took those. He looked more like a picture collector to me judging by the number of such threads created by him.

i have also reasons to believe those photos on modelmayhem may not even be taken by him. Cos the photos from both side is very constrasting.

It might take 2 hands to clap.. But considering this: If you are a girl in a room full of photoger ( ok. maybe say 4 photogers), sometimes you are pressure to do something. I remembered FHM model in school uniform.

Remember those case where the "salesman" come in group and pressure pple to buy something.. Think time-share scheme and HDB-prowling "window upgrade" salesman.

so you are saying that if you are a guy in a room full of people who want you to kill another guy, and you bow in to pressure, you will not be guilty in the eyes of the law?

no, you are an adult. you are responsible for your actions.

Why would a ger put herself in a situation where she is the only ger in a room full of male strangers?............ Even school gers should know better than that rite..
