Traditionally, photography is allowed, but you're not allowed to shoot the building itself, only grounds, ie the trees, greenery, etc.
It makes for a strange photo album - i've seen a few online albums labelled 'Istana Open House' (or to that effect) and they've got pics of everything (trees, flowers, tourists, etc) but the Istana... ![]() |
