Ooh! We have someoen who'd done this before! Good!
Zann, what do you think is the best way to do this? Pair between two person, or should we pass around the film randomly?

And how do you handle the final product huh? As in, how do you deal with non-aligned frame pictures?

Hey Tucker! I don't think you need to worry, since most probably I would only finalise the details by next week. And most probably, you would have to shoot your own film first before passing it around!

    Multiple Exposure Project

Two person per team. Each person would get a roll of film (be it negs or slide), exposed it (i.e. shoot it), and then exchange with the other person. Each would then load the exposed films into their camera, and exposed them again. The final images would then be scanned, and nicely exposed pictures would be published on a website or a blog (need to source for that later).

Any film camera users are welcome. Think the Lomographers will enjoy this!

Note, the objectives of this project is to have fun, and to explore the world of multiple exposures!

Interested party, please list your name down, and I would contact you guys shortly!

I'd yet to come out with the best arrangement for the exchange of exposed films. Anyway, I would like to request each of you to start shooting on one roll of negatives (any brand, colour, ASA either 100, 200 or 400), at your own time and pace. And as soon as you finish exposing that roll, you should PM me, and I'll try and consolidate them and exchange the roll with an exposed one (either by post or meetup).

Once that roll is exposed, each would send to a lab of his choice to process, and get it scanned. Images would then be posted up on a site or an online album (would source for it later). Note that, any of these photos would be considered as properties of both parties that are involved in producing them.

Anyway, the bottomline is... start shooting!!

There's really no time limit/constraint as such, since different people may finish the roll at differenet timing.

Anyway, to give a rough gauge, maybe we should work towards a fortnight or so?

The problem of over-exposure won't be as pronounced if you were to use negs instead of slides. And, yah, any film camera could be used, be it a p&s, a lomographer camera (lomo LCA or action sampler), a rangefinder, or a SLR.

Anyway, have fun, and share with us the results...
