remember to print the hyperfocal distance chart and put in your bag.

the important point is not to let the tripod FALL into the water.... hence plastic bag will be useless. If you're talking about legs kena water, I think there should be no issue. If you're worried, then wrap some glad-wrap on the legs lor...

About the location.. bros... really hor, some parts of the edge of the water are just granite rocks. So really be careful if you are to go down... I almost fell one time there.

Wanna discuss next destination of Newbies outing tomorrow? I'll take up the mantle to organize it. But won't be a Saturday morning, but Wednesday evening. What say you guys?

    Think of a location.

    Cheers!

Sorry bro Ding, I think you mistook me with another rookie. I don't own a car

btw..imo the edge of the water there is quite 'steep' unlike the stony gradual ones in lower peirce and bedok reservoir..so you may have to be doubly extra careful when 'going down' to the edge..I didn't manage to go down far the last time I was there..

not too sure if you've settled on a name for your group but how about "Guiding Light"?

you organize outings that benefit individuals new to photography...

you guide them in the early stages of their photographic journey...

at one point in time or another, each of you have assumed the role of guide in the outings...

the name is also a metaphor for what your group stands for.....
