Hi guys and girls .. just wanted to find out if we are more PC or Mac dominant for photographers.

    Mac Mac Mac Mac Mac...

I need a computer that can manage my photos and mp3s (and maybe video in the near future)... Sick and tired of getting a PC to work... Since I'm no power gamer or power software user, I decided back in 2002 to switch to an iMac...

When my ACER laptop 'dies', I'll be getting a 12" Powerbook...

Your options are insufficient. I use MacOS, WinXP/9x and Linux, each for its own purpose. I say that Mac looks cool, Windows has better software range, Linux is stable and Intel/AMD is fast.

I have my legs on two boats!

    Buy what you need.

Use Win XP at home & Mac OS X at work...

Luv Panther interface so much tat i totally skinned my XP to Panther look & feel..

My junk (P4 1.8@3.0Ghz) can trash my G5 anytime anywhere... But nothing can beat the Unix core under the beauty OS X...

So at the end of the day, I take the best of both world...

I have a pc that boot to multiple OS...Win 98, 2000, XP, Linux and DOS. Yes DOS. Sometimes I need it. Each OS has it's own strength.

I noticed that .. while each OS got its strength .. i think we all must agree that MAC OS X is a superb interface that's just soooo sleek and beautiful even all XP users are kinda skinning and "faking" a mac .. hahah
