Default Real Kopitiam talk - Quan Yifeng: Please don't judge me

It's amazing that the taxi meter can be ripped out. Is that an easy thing to do?

SO I told him , the record is SOOO many yrs ago ..

He still blabber blabber blabber ... say once check finger print QYF sure kanna beat buttocks ...

I feel like slapping him too .. sighz .. .

Anyway the point is like what u mentioned, is it that easy to rip the taxi that badly within 15mins ...

i am not taking sides but just thinking ..

but i noticed online many ppls just reprimand QYF .... what happen to all the thinking brains? i mean ... we only hear and see 1 sided view and due to ex-record we condemn her!?

I feel that the taxi driver might have overly exaggerated on the whole incident.

Infact, QYF side sounds more logical.

She might have bad records in the past but we shouldnt judge her based on her past.

we shld just wait & see

wah! finally someone created this thread.

frankly speaking i dun have good opinion of QYF. She gives me an impression she is a proud, arrogant person and can be quite pretendious also. She always same pattern, cry on TV screen to gain sympathy.

    Just think about this:
    1. Why would the taxi driver rip his own meter resulting in losses to his income? - My dad is a taxi driver and everytime his taxi breaks down = loss of income.
    2. QYF shows her back some bruise... how did that bruise came about?? If the taxi driver sits in front, how to hit her back? Even if QYF moves to one side , the most the blow lands on her shoulder. The position of the bruise isn't right unless they got off the cab and he hit her! This keeps me wonder if she....

And I think Comfort is confident in this lawsuit thats why they are supporting the taxi driver.

Anyway a leopard never changes its spot.

base on the newspaper about her neighbours comment, do u want such person living next door? looking at her past record & charactor on tv shows (not those drama show, but those she host), i will believe her neighbours comment.

it is true we shouldnt judge people base on their past records, but than again, arent we what we are because of the things we did?

also, during end of year appreaser, promotion and job interview, u mean we shouldnt look at past record?

like i always say, when it doesnt affect the individual or his family, many will give comment as though they are saint.

would u want child molesters, rapist, drug addict be ur neighbours?

fact of life, how much do u think ur flat can sell if ur neighbours are those with record and those fact are make known to buyers??

QYF obviously requires anger management. There are these people who will flew into a rage in the heat of the moment but are really nice people otherwise.

Tensions reportedly reached boiling point when the driver braked hard at a junction and the star was thrown forward. The cabby said that Quan accused him of doing it on purpose and swore at him in Hokkien. She then insulted his mother and proceeded to shove and hit him, he told the paper.

"Mr Tan claims that when he stopped the taxi, the TV host alighted and kicked his groin and a car door. She even locked herself in the taxi for 15 minutes to destroy it, ripped the meter and stereo out, emptied a bottle of water on his things and spilled his change everywhere, he said."

Police have classified this case as theft because Quan left the scene with the driver’s car keys, the report said.

papers say got withness the whole case somemore.

funny that she should say in the phone interview telecast on the news "i hope my lawyer can explain what really happened!!" (or something to that meaning, cant remember her exact words)

also, when we make police report about being assualted, how come still fly to other country for work? how to invertigate without the plaintiff?

How do you know ur current neighbour aint ex-convict or even terrorist as well?

do they need to print at their door or pin a yellow ribbon?

not a saint or what just that every one should be given a chance.

    Anyway ... i guess different POVs ....
i shall shut up then to avoid misunderstandings ...

And i am not saying QYF is not wrong ok. ..

Two very different sides of the story -- but only one side is true, or maybe both sides have added spice to it. Whatever it is, may the liar be found guilty and punished.

This is an interesting case. A celebrity vs the average joe. The well connected vs the man on the street. The vivacious weaker sex vs the male who cried abused. Mediacorp vs Comfort Delgro.

I thought that lawyer Subbas is more of a Robin Hood, helping the common people. Wonders how he will handle this case?

Hey, you gotta take sides. You cannot stand on neutral grounds. In a debate, there are only 2 sides.
