Other people would be glad to get some additional feedback as well, complimenting the information provided already in Workshops, Tutorials, Classes. Why keeping it as PM?

my budget btw is under 4000 or slightly above

If budget is not the issue, then go for it, get the 7D. Actually, I'm keen on the 7D too for its wireless flash feature.

anyway, so far its a hobby, nothing serious yet, but it tend to spend alot on my hobbies so cost isnt really the issue as long as its reasonable (max $4k ). I'm hoping to bring it in to a more professional level in the future but that a long way to go, so yah. thanks again for your reply.
If you want a equipment that can last long and make a difference to your photo. Save the money and get a good sport lens. 70-200mm f2.8 or 300mmf2.8 or 400mmf.28., if sport is your interest. 7D will not be your "best" in a few months.

it's either those offered here or prob from those offered at safra ....
if those that are offered here are the advertisers for this club, then i think we should support it. i m really new here so what's the option?

i have not decided yet until i get that camera.

    Hello,

I'm a newbie here. My wife just got me a 7D as a surprise birthday gift, well, it's
was really a surprise, never used a DSLR camera before.

Anybody can recommend schools or courses for this camera.

    Thanks in advance.

The best in Canon are 1Ds mk3 and 1D mk4.
The best in Nikon are D3x and D3s
The best in Sony is A900
The best in Pentax is K-7
The best in Olympus is E-3

Among all these bests, the best of the best are the models from Nikon and Canon. Take your pick.

Out of your league? no problem, read books like hell, go shoot at every opportunity, attending classes and you will start catching it all.
    correction hor....

The best in Pentax is 645

    Watch the following:

and other 7D tutorials. Personally, I would rather spend $ on lenses and accessories than schools or courses, but I do understand not everyone learn the same way.

1st, i would like to say its ur money, spend it in the way that will make u happy.

ts, from all ur post in this thread, u dont know most of the common term used for camera, i wonder how can u make an educated decision as to which camera suit u.

my advice, go polish ur skill (though i have not seen any of ur photos) with ur bro's camera and understand all the common term used for camera, i believe u can make a sound decision by then.

u say u like shot sport, than have u budget in pro-lens beside upgrading the camera? have u seen pro-shooter using 70-300 (the one u have) which is a slow lens on a 1series which has a fast af system? if u dont realize this is odd combi, than i dont know how is it that u can make an educated decision.
