    yupz it is a VR2 version.. I call the shop prior to going down to NSC and they suggest that I go to NSC... Actually NSC suggest for me to go back to shop to change..but I told them I do not want to go back shop anymore as the shop already not too happy when I exchange the lens the 1st time..and I want NSC to check the new lens before releasing it to me...wanted NSC to be responsible this time round...
    Anyway, next time, it would be prudent to check the lens before paying for it and walking out the door of the shop.
