Default Breadtalk Fashion Show 24 Apr 04

At Bugis Junction 2pm. Haute bun couture, showcasing the latest creations from Breadtalk.

The poster showed the models fressed in pork floss

Go, shoot and share! I can't make it.

Here're some of my better shots for the event.

Breattalk show

As for what happened, let's just say I arrived early and had a very good spot, but that was before the show began.

Exactly. Right after the show started he chose to stand, of all places, right in front of me. Even on 18mm he occupied almost the whole frame. What a waste.

Don't think he's an official cameraman.. those with press passes were opposite me.

So did anyone get any good shots?

Just bring a betacam to these events and people will probably think you work for the TV stations.

At press event in Taipei recently, I was just standing behind a group of reporters and photographers just watching. Suddenly there was this guy, who came up from behind, holding a notepad and being polite squeezing his way through the crowd. We all thought that he was a reporter or something so we let him through although we didn't notice that he wasn't wearing a press pass. After he got through, he took a look at his notepad, pretend to seriously look at it, and then just stood there. The whole group of us was like "wtf???!!!". Some of the tv crew member asked him to step aside cos he was in the way, and he just pretended that he was deaf or something.

Moral of the story: If you are not a member of the press, act like one and you will get through, hahaha.......
