i dont need the whole thing.

Are you asking for a spare hotshoe to be glued to the body so that you can have a microphone as well as a flash?

yes,a flash bracket will get it done.but i always find it gets in the way n adding a bracket means more weight.so it's out.

You might be able to get an additional shoe securely glued to the flash if you prep the surface and use the right adhesive, but you would be placing tremendous torque and stress on the flash and camera's hotshoe. Additionally, the glue may not hold up for long since there's no other anchor other than a fairly small surface area that is glued together.

An alternative is a bottom-mounted mike. Perhaps you could check with the guys in the video section how they might do something like this.

    All the best.

i tried using a heavy duty double-sided tape but as Dream Merchant predicted..it did not hold long.plus i dont want to stress the flash and camera's hotshoe too much.

luckly i have a old bottom-mount flash bracket.
now this is how my gear looks like then i'm in video mode.

    Thanks for everyone's advise!

what you looking for is a cold shoe, photography mostly needed are hotshoe, you can check out some accessory shoe under video (adorama or B&H), you may find something more usable.

    Looks SWEET!

Can also try a Metz flash mounting bracket to extend slightly further away from the camera/use as a shoulder support, or extend the mike upwards with a simple drilled and tapped aluminium rod.

    Have fun!
