    Yes when focusing you focus only on one eye. But normally you would want both eyes to be in focus, so if you're shooting from the side of the subject, you would want to select an aperture that provides adequate DOF to cover both eyes.

    understood thanks.. so if i am using corner AF spot, depends on Lens and Aperture, some lens has soft corner will affect my face portrait?

    Thanks for all your replies...

    actually Ive been shooting my focus point on the eye most of the time...

    well most best answer is to lower to f/2 or f/2.8

    Next Saturday... will keep it in mind..hahahaha
