Lots of Common Palmfly today. Must be their season....
1. ![]() Saw a few pupae at the shed where I saw larvae of the Common Rose previously, so I think they are the pupae of the Common Rose. 2. ![]() Btw, I was buying a bread at a bakery shop at Clementi Centre when a butt flew into the shop. It was a dark big one with some yellow, possibly Common Birdwing? Last edited by macross; 19th April 2004 at 10:17 PM. |

Thanks BobCheong.
The first pic was cropped about 1/6 from the left and bottom. The second pic was a full frame at super-macro mode, iso400, F8, 1/25s. I pushed my cam to the left against the wooden stand of the shed for stability. The two pics that I have posted in this thread (http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=70473) were full frame at super-macro mode. I intend to get some close-up filters in the near future; some of the butts are really small, i think less than a cm. |
