Thread: Sunrise shootings

    Default Sunrise shootings

    Hey guys,

I do not know where to put this actually.
I wanted to ask, how do I go to the locations of sunrise places like Sembawang or Upper Peirce, because the normal transportation earliest is 06.30 am. I stay in West Area so by bus approx took 1 hour? By the time I reach there, it is already 07.30 am

More expensive way: Cab... will take about 30 bucks which I feel like I can spend on any other things wisely.

Any ideas, because I sure have run out of.

    Thanks

    Regards,
    R

If you want to catch the so called 'blue hour' you'd have to be there like 20 to 30 mins before the sun rises. If you want to catch the 'golden hour', be there like 10 to 40 mins after the sun rises ... this is from my various shoots in the morning.

    cheers!

    This is a good idea

When I went to take the sun rise photo at Woodlands Waterfront yesterday morning.

I saw someone camp there over night.

They camp overnight probably they were fishing, but yeah, that is one good idea. However, you'd have to set your own alarm clock so you would wake up before the sunrises. Also, make sure you protect and keep safe your property while there. Not saying it is a high crime area, but that should be your practice regardless of where you shoot.

    cheers!

Ideally, go in a group with one person stand guard at all time.
    Or bring along your dog
